Final Post
It's hello and goodbye. I'm closing the blog to new comments now, as our little experiment has come to an end. Thank you all for the terrific response; I'm staggered by the number of comments in such a short time, and by the good sense and sharp observations behind them.
The blog will stay up for a few more days so those who need to see it - can.

I don't believe that The Royal Mail can easily convince the general public of it's well being; after the catastrophic costs of name changing, and as an employee of The Royal Mail, I believe this price rise will only act as a catalyst for the general public's concern, nor do I believe it will have any real affect on the problems concerned.

I've lost mail due to the re directed service not updateing the address given, and still using up the old address labels. This causes alot of problems due to bilss etc going missing. No apologies offered and what is offered is not acceptable. If you had a meal wrong you'd expect some sort of dicount and not to pay the full price, wouldn't you?

why is thay a high staff turn around we never see the same postman day to day been told is because of the pay so why not look after your staff to what thay do
